HI! I'M ANNMARIE
Writer. Maker. Dreamer.
I write books that deliver equal parts swoon and snort-laughs. I’m powered by coffee (which definitely deserves to be its own food group) and the belief that stories help us figure ourselves out. And when I’m not wrangling fictional characters, I’m dreaming up new stationery designs or lost in the story that's climbed to the top of my TBR.
Welcome! Everything here begins with a story
Here's the thing: I'm what you might call a "multi-passionate creator" (meaning my creativity refuses to stay in a single lane).
On the surface it might look like I'm juggling three different ventures--a stack of novels, a line of products, and a newsletter about what we can learn from fiction--but they're stitched together with the same thread.
And that thread is story.
Whether I'm writing swoony-snarky fiction, designing things like journals and mugs, or exploring how books help us make sense of our lives, it's basically me chasing story down every rabbit hole it wants to run.
So consider this space part book nook, part creative studio, part soft place to land.
Wander around. Make yourself at home. I hope you find something that feels like it was made just for you!
And since every story has chapters, MINE ARE . . .
THE BOOKS
Like your favorite café--warm, inviting, and a little bit steamy--my books are where laughter mingles with heartache, love shows up in unexpected ways, and the endings are always worth the wait.
Inside the covers you'll meet characters who are sometimes messy, but always lovable. Each figuring out who they are, where they belong, and discovering that sometimes the best family is the one you make.
THE LANDING
The Landing is my stash of small treasures designed to make everyday life feel more fun, more beautiful, and worthy of your own main-character moments.
From journals and notebooks that tempt you to fill the pages to mugs that demand a refill, everything is hand-drawn by me and designed to add delight to your days—and remind you that yes, buying new stationery absolutely counts as self-care.
THE PLOT LINE
The Plot Line is my free twice-monthly newsletter where fiction meets real life. Each article is inspired by a few lines from a novel and unpacks the a-ha moment it holds.
Sometimes it's a nudge toward self-compassion, sometimes it's a reminder of resilience, but it's always a celebration of the power of story. Think of it as your favorite book club chat (if your coach showed up), only you get to stay at home in your comfiest chair and there's no homework required.
